Our client – a Global Pharmaceutical Company is currently looking for a Compliance Director for Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa to be based in Singapore. The primary focus of the role is to be responsible for developing, and overseeing the implementation of compliance programme and a compliance advisor to the business and will have direct management of compliance leads for the Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa region.
The Role:

The Responsibilities:
• Maintain and oversee key aspects of the compliance programme within the region
• Provide strategic compliance input to the Leadership team
• Participate in key business leadership meetings to build relationships with internal customers, ensure compliance risks and priorities are appropriately addressed and to better align compliance to the business risks and strategies
• Provide guidance and advice to the commercial and functional teams in APACAPACMEA, pro-actively supporting compliance matters to minimise risk
• Partner with Global and International Compliance, develop and/or implement relevant and effective compliance training for company’s colleagues and applicable third parties
• Update leadership, business divisions and other support functions on relevant changes in the external compliance environment, internal compliance framework and other relevant information that may impact sub-regional governance and compliance risk
• Plan, conduct and manage ad hoc investigations in the region in relation to potential compliance issues in accordance with the International investigations approach
About You:
• Minimum 10 years of corporate compliance experience within the Healthcare / Pharmaceutical / Medical Device industry
• Organisation, analytical, project management, leadership and team building skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to influence multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams across business divisions.
• Must be fluent in English (written and spoken), other relevant language advantageous e.g. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic
